Abstract
This paper examines the role of diplomacy in managing and resolving global conflicts within the framework of international relations. Diplomacy, as a tool of foreign policy, serves as a primary method for preventing escalation, fostering cooperation, and negotiating peace in times of international disputes. Through an analysis of key diplomatic theories and realworld examples, the paper explores how diplomatic efforts have contributed to the deescalation of conflicts and the establishment of long-term peace agreements. The findings suggest that while diplomacy faces numerous challenges, including state interests and ideological differences, it remains a vital mechanism in the maintenance of international peace and security.
