IKS Perspectives in Promoting Peace and Stability Through Compatible Marriage

Abstract

Indian Knowledge System revolves around knowledge and life to realise divinity beyond the boundaries of modern lifestyle. IKS is a combination of arts, science, commerce, and spiritualism to achieve holistic development both at individual and societal levels. School is a miniature society; family is the smallest unit of the society which consists of many family members whose basis is centralised around a compatible marital relationship. While the contract marriage system is defiling the sanctity of conjugal relationships, our IKS advocates for a compatible Marriage and ideal family life with a dream of living together for births. Living together with mutual understanding possesses scientific, positive genetic impact upon the offspring of subsequent generations. In the absence of these compatible marriages and true commitment to living together, all sorts of social indiscipline are born out of genetic incompatibility and disintegrated marriages in society. As a result, the compulsion for divorce between the couple creates adverse crises in life and society as well. The so-called rich people having wealth, power, position, and degrees are living without peace, under stress, depression, and human disasters leading to self-revenging activities.
