Abstract

The landscape of education is evolving to meet the dynamic needs of the 21st century, emphasizing the importance of holistic and multidisciplinary approaches. India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 serves as a pivotal framework advocating for comprehensive educational reforms. This research article explores the integration of holistic and multidisciplinary methodologies within the NEP 2020 framework, analyzing their implications for student development, curriculum design, and pedagogical strategies. This study employs a qualitative approach, analyzing policy documents, scholarly articles, and case studies related to NEP 2020 and educational methodologies. Data were collected from official NEP 2020 publications, peer-reviewed journals, and relevant educational frameworks to assess the alignment and effectiveness of holistic and multidisciplinary approaches within the policy context. By examining the policy's provisions and their practical applications, the study highlights the transformative potential of these approaches in fostering well-rounded, adaptable, and innovative individuals.
